Netflix has just unveiled its upcoming production Lobo, starring Luis Tosar and Tristán Ulloa. It is a miniseries written by Alberto Marini and Juan Galiñanes, directed by Alberto Marini and Javier Rodríguez Delgado, and produced by Vaca Films, which has just begun filming.
The miniseries is based on the true story of Manuel Blanco Romasanta, a traveling tailor who went down in history as Spain’s first documented serial killer in rural Galicia in the 19th century. During his defense, he claimed to be a werewolf… and that’s where the legend began.
‘Lobo’ is a project co-financed by the European Union, through AGADIC (Galician Agency for Cultural Industries), within the framework of the Galicia ERDF 2021-2027 program.
